If you don’t have your own kayak but still want to enjoy the ride, you can easily get one from local owners who will typically charge less than what you can get at the local boat rentals. We recommend taking a look at available kayak rentals from the locals in the area.
Kayaking to beach has a bit of its own magic. You can launch your kayak from Clearwater Beach just south of Caladesi Island, or you can put in to the North, from Honeymoon Island. On your voyage, regardless of your starting point, you’ll be following along the white sand coastline. If you’re lucky, you may even find yourself paddling along-side dolphins that inhabit the area.
About a mile south of the island in Caladesi’s tip you can reach the passageway to the marina and concession territory. This small region is fit with a café, evolving rooms, showers, a play area, and park tables making it a perfect resting point or place for a picnic. A short stroll through the forested areas takes you to the beach, which stretches out in radiant ferocity for miles, fixed with ocean oats, wildlife, and beach morning wonders.

One of our favorite things about Caladesi Island is the stroll to the North end of the island. It is a fantastically lovely and quiet zone. With Caladesi Island’s beach and Clearwater Beach behind you, you can sit in the delicate sand and watch pontoons traveling through Hurricane Pass.
